Pronounced A NA-AY HO O MAH LOO, the beach takes its name from the fish ponds behind - one of the finest remaining examples of ancient Hawaiian aquaculture. Anaeho'omalu is one of the best recreational beaches on the island. Excellent for windsurfing, swi
mming, snorkling, scuba diving. Please respect the rights of other users - don't windsurf over swimmers. Swimmers should keep a sharp lookout for boats and boards. Reach it by taking Waikoloa Beach Drive off Queen Ka'ahumanu Hwy (Hwy 19).
